  • Home Care

    Ideal for seniors who desire to live at home and maintain their independence. These agencies provide hourly or live-in caregivers to residents of private apartments, cottages, and homes. Home care promotes a safe and worry-free lifestyle with a range of services. Caregivers provide help with activities of daily living (ADL’s), meal preparation, companionship, and socialization. Residents have the freedom to stay in their home, while also having access to the care they need. In the state of New Jersey, caregivers need to go through a 76 hour certification course to become a certified home health aide. Home care agencies create a supportive environment that allows seniors to live independently and make the most of their retirement years, while remaining in their home.

    $35-38 per hour, $350-400 daily live in

  • Home Health

    Home-based care for seniors in need of skilled services, but do not need/wish to be in a nursing facility. Home health covers skilled nurses, caregivers, therapists (physical, speech, and occupational therapy), and social workers for seniors that are home bound. This means a senior can’t leave their home, or that leaving the home creates an unreasonable burden. Medicare provides this service at no-cost to qualified residents of NJ & PA, while some private insurers can have copayments. Medicare home health can be provided for 28 hours a week maximum, then it would need to be supplemented. The goal is to provide rehabilitation and skilled care, allowing seniors to return to a baseline that allows them to safely stay in the home.

  • Adult Day Centers

    Designed specifically for seniors that need specialized care during the day. Usually, about half the members of an adult day center have dementia, while the other half have other needs that require supervision. Most adult day centers offer transportation and care ranging for 5 hours per day and allow for their members to return home Typically, two meals per day are provided. These specialized units provide a secure and supportive environment designed with safety features and structured activities to promote cognitive stimulation, maintain daily routines, and foster a sense of purpose. Adult day centers communities offer a supportive environment that ensures resident safety & socialization.

    $95-$170 daily, free with Medicaid & VA Benefits
